Marcel Steur is a sworn translator and interpreter and the Managing Director of legal translation company JMS Textservice. He translates legal and financial texts from Dutch into English and from English into Dutch, working together with the other translators on the in-house team and editing their translations. Marcel also often works as a simultaneous interpreter during hearings before district courts, courts of appeal and arbitral tribunals. Lorri Granger is legal translator who translates documents from Dutch into English at JMS Textservice. She also edits English translations done by both in-house translators and a select group of freelancers. Rick is a legal translator who translates and edits translations from Dutch into English at JMS Textservice in a wide range of legal fields. Rick enjoys parsing difficult sentences in order to translate texts and communicate their underlying message and nuances as accurately as possible. Martine Tol is a legal translator at JMS Textservice and translates documents from Dutch into English. Martine is also works as a consecutive interpreter in cases before a civil-law notary. She is also a sworn interpreter. Richard Veerman is legal translator who translates documents from Dutch into English and English into Dutch at JMS Textservice. Richard also edits translations in both languages, in a wide variety of disciplines. Richard's favourite thing about working at JMS Textservice is the opportunity to translate at the highest level, for example, by contributing to translations for the Netherlands Supreme Court. He also greatly enjoys working directly with clients to strike and maintain the proper tone of voice in crucial legal translations. Susan Kerkhof-Clark is a legal translator who joined JMS Textservice in 2014. She translates texts from Dutch into English and edits English translations done by other translators. Susan's favourite thing about working at JMS Textservice is working as a team with a single shared goal: to deliver great translations to our clients and to do it on time! The lines of communication at JMS Textservice are short and personal contact with each other and with our clients is our top priority.

Nelleke Kwakman works as a project manager at JMS Textservice and also ensures the proper handling of all financial and administrative matters. She acts as a first point of contact for clients and ensures that all the activities relating to translation, from quotation to delivery, run smoothly. Nelleke's favourite thing about working at JMS Textservice is that each day brings a new challenge. Nelleke does not stop working until every issue has been properly dealt with and our client has received a translation that meets their needs, all before the deadline. She also enjoys interacting with her colleagues.

Tine Poppinga is legal translator who translates documents from Dutch into English and English into Dutch at JMS Textservice. She also translates texts from Spanish into Dutch. She is a sworn translator for these languages and is listed in the Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators (Rbtv). Tine especially enjoys the close contact she has with her colleagues at JMS Textservice while working on projects, consulting colleagues and clients, and sharing her experience. Tine relishes the chance to deliver a qualitatively good product, and to continue developing as a translator through coursework and by taking the work process and products delivered to the next level. Eva Kwakman works as a project manager at JMS Textservice and supervises the financial and administrative organisation. As a contact for JMS's clients, she listens to what clients need and want and selects the most suitable translators for their assignments. In doing so, she either engages the in-house legal translators at JMS Textservice or calls on our select international network of top-flight translators. As a project manager, Eva is involved throughout the translation process, from quotation to delivery. Eva enjoys tackling the challenges that her work involves. Her supervision and ability to match translator skills to assignments ensures that all our translations are delivered on time, regardless of their scope and complexity.

Laurie de Vries is legal translator who translates documents of the highest complexity from Dutch into English at JMS Textservice. Working at JMS gives Laurie the opportunity to write beautiful English, to spar with colleagues about terminology and then to apply that terminology and her translation skills to clarify the differences between legal systems to prevent misunderstandings. Laurie mentors all the junior translators at JMS and teaches them to use the richness of English grammar and vocabulary to communicate the tone and meaning of a Dutch text to the intended reader.

Marina is a project manager at JMS Textservice and keeps everything related to the translation process running smoothly. She contacts clients and handles every step of translation work, from quotations to delivery of final translations. She also monitors deadlines so that our clients always get their translations on time. Marina's favourite thing about working at JMS Textservice is the contact she has with both clients and the freelance translators with whom JMS Textservice often works. She derives great satisfaction from providing assurance to clients who are presenting her with what they believe to be an impossible challenge. For Marina, the fact that no request is actually impossible is what distinguishes JMS Textservice from other agencies.

Roy Mühren is a certified legal translator into English at JMS Textservice, where he works on translating and editing a wide variety of legal and financial documents. Roy's favourite part of working at JMS Textservice is the excellent collaboration with his colleagues, which contributes to a pleasant atmosphere and satisfaction in his work. He also derives great satisfaction from the fact that, as a legal translator, he learns something new every day and can contribute to the legal process in which all sorts of legal problems, large and small, are solved at global level.

Emma Steur is a legal translator at JMS Textservice and she also edits translations relating to many areas of law. She also enjoys free translation, which requires the ability to write persuasively, such as marketing texts. Mark has been a Dutch to English legal translator at JMS Textservice since 2018. He translates and edits texts in various fields of law, including contract law, labour law, and procedural law. Lidy Bont is legal translator who translates documents from Dutch into English and English into Dutch at JMS Textservice. She also edits translations in both languages in various areas of law. Lidy's favourite thing about working at JMS Textservice is the opportunity to continue to develop in different ways. For example, she started her career at JMS translating into English, and now she also translates into Dutch. Lidy has expanded her horizons in the legal field as well, successfully completing two extensive trainings given by Chris Odijk, Legal Translation and the Intellectual Property Translation.
