How we work JMS Textservice takes a great deal of care with each translation. We make sure that we take the right approach every time, to guarantee success. As our client, you will always have the same contact person, so you will never have to explain anything twice. We go through a number of steps for each translation assignment. The following will give you an idea of those steps and an explanation of what they entail: Step 1 You telephone or email JMS Textservice. Our experienced translating experts will discuss your requirements with you: who the text is aimed at, your deadline and your quality requirements. Once this has been established, we move on to the next step. Step 2 JMS Textservice provides a customised quotation which takes all your requirements into account. We use standard word rates, making our system transparent, so that you know straight away what is involved. Doesn’t that make life easier?! Step 3 Once you accept the quotation, the translating experts at JMS Textservice will start work. You can deliver your text in many formats, including CDs, USB sticks, diskettes or by email. Step 4 JMS Textservice will assign your project to the right translator. An initial draft translation is checked thoroughly and corrected if necessary. Where possible we use specialist (electronic) dictionaries and client-specific glossaries to safeguard the internal consistency of the translation. A second proofreader is then asked to re-read the translation, checking readability and removing any last imperfections. Any terminology questions will be discussed with the client. It is crucial that we have good contact with you, our client. We will schedule consultations on progress and quality, but you are always welcome to contact JMS Textservice at any time for information or with your questions and/or comments. Step 5 When we have reached the point where both parties are happy with the final result of the translation, the project will be closed. The translations can be sent to you by post, email or courier. If necessary, we can arrange a courier for urgent certified translations – you can count on JMS Textservice. Important! Now that we have completed all the steps in the translation project, we come to an important point.
